An open letter from Paul Vian, Managing Director
I am pleased to announce that we have now completed the acquisition of Pace Fuelcare Ltd.You will be aware from previous communications that the acquisition was always subject to clearance from the Office of Fair Trading. This was subsequently approved on 27th September 2011.
Operating in the South of England, Pace supplies fuel to commercial, agricultural and domestic customers, as well as independent and Pace branded retail forecourts.
This acquisition will further strengthen our position in the Southern region; increasing our operational and depot infrastructure and enhancing our ability to attract and serve existing and new customers throughout the market.
In its financial year ending September 2010, Pace sold 455 million litres of fuel.
With approximately 201 employees, Pace operates from 19 locations across Southern England and has a fleet of 83 road tankers.
I am also pleased to advise that Phillip Wharton will continue in his role as General Manager of Pace Fuelcare.
