New image new outlook at Newton Hill Garage
Newton Hill Garage goes Gulf
A stunning new image awaits customers at Newton Hill Garage, on the A61 in Outwood, Wakefield. The rebranding of the forecourt to Gulf is being followed with improvements to the site's convenience shop as the family-run business looks to the future.
Operated by Gordon and Jean Purcell with their son Matt and his wife Sarah, Newton Hill Garage is popular with local residents for offering a one-stop service including 6 double-nozzle fuel pumps, a well stocked shop, car workshop, MOT service, and an impressive wash centre with four jet washes, steam cleaner, drive through rollover and two vacuums.
"We have owned the business for 30 years and always look to move with the times," explains Matt Purcell. "As an independent forecourt operator and a business at the core of the community, we have to constantly be on our toes and the decision to change fuel supplier was made for the good of the company and ultimately our customers."
"Now we are looking closely at our shop to examine ways of improving layouts and increasing product lines. It's all about improving the service levels for the motorist and with so many local service stations going out of business it is important that we are in tune with our customers and prepared to make decisions now for the long term future.
