Gulf Motorcycle tops the leaderboard
The Gulf Racing Top Fuel Motorcycle, ridden by Ian King, has maintained its lead in the 2011 FIM UEM European Top Fuel Bike Championship.
Though King was not crowned winner of the 2011 FHRA Nitro Nationals, taking place in Alastro, Finland over the weekend, the gap at the top of the table now stands at 40 points.
Having finished second in qualifying, King lost his quarter final to local favourite Petri Paljakka, who moved into second overall after going on to win his home event.
The Championship’s next stop is the Sunoco Drag Challenge, Gardermoen, Norway at the start of August.
