British racers set for Le Mans
Hancock and Turner included in Gulf AMR line-up
The Gulf-branded Aston Martin Racing team has recruited Britain's Sam Hancock prior to race at this summer's Le Mans 24 hours - his first outing at the Circuit de la Sarthe, France, since 2006.30-year-old Hancock - a former Le Mans Series Champion (2004 - LMP2) - already has experience of the circuit, having competed there on four occasions to date.
The orange and powder blue Lola-Aston Martin will now have two Britons on board. Darren Turner - a stalwart of the Gulf Aston Martin Racing success story - returns to prototypes, having spent the season so far running Aston Martin GT machinery.
The line-up is completed by Copenhagen-born and London-based Juan Bazari.
Keith Jewers, Director, Gulf Retail, is delighted to see such strong home involvement in the world's oldest sport car endurance race: "It's always good for Gulf in the UK when British competitors are representing us in events like the 24 hours of Le Mans.
"To have both Sam and Darren racing is fantastic and I'm sure they'll do the country proud."
