Gulf Forecourts turn to Bio-Diesels
The 'green' revolution has seen a definitive change in Gulf Retail sales patterns as forecourt dealers gradually turn in favour of bio-diesels to offer their customers a more environmentally-friendly fuel option.
"We have been supplying bio-fuels for some time," explains Paul Muncey, National Sales Manager for Gulf Retail, "but recent media coverage and a general interest in addressing environmental issues has encouraged people, including our dealers, to act on advice and play their part for the future. Many of our sites are now taking Gulf bio-diesel and we expect sales to grow steadily in the months ahead."
"Gulf Retail actively support any legislative push to improve the environment in which we all live and are in regular consultation with the PRA and other influential groups involved in developing next generation solutions. In the long term we are looking to the big change, not a short term product differentiation that may provide a 5% improvement. This is only a first-stage solution, but we are committed to change and will support any initiatives that introduce cleaner fuels to the UK."
